Be careful using this company. Booked them on a HOT auto load yesterday at 15:00 that had to load ASAP due to it had to be delivered Friday the 19th at 07:00 am in Ontario. When their dispatcher called he said no problem he would have a driver there in 2 hours as he was empty 71 miles away. Carrier asked for $1800 & I gave them $2000 to make sure it got done.

Last night I called at 18:00 to check on the truck and the dispatcher said they couldn't reach the driver and he would keep trying. 2 hours went by...no answer. And the shipper called me looking for the truck. Canamex said they finally reached their driver and the issue was their previous receiver forgot one skid on board so the driver had to wait until this morning to get it off at 7am. Then the truck would head to pick for 09:00 am this morning. I made a deal with my receiver for them to wait until Friday late morning early afternoon and that they would push back production. At 09:00 am they called me and said that the starter wasn't working on the truck and that they were waiting on road side assistance but he guaranteed me it would get picked up. At 11:45 I get an email saying the truck had been towed and won't be fixed for a least 4 hours.

I know issues happen on the road and trucks break down...and this might be all true. But I highly doubt it.

Use at your own risk.

These guys are a joke. They burned me as well. I think they only honor companies that they work direct with since they are still around. However if you don't work with them on a regular bases you will get burned bad. They cost me $. They suck

If I did not have such a good relationship with my client, I would of lost them and it would of cost me a lot of $$$.

I am differently not defending anyone, BUT I do work at a trucking company and yes trucks break down. The difference is when my truck breaks down we offer to the customer a copy of the paid bill showing dates and times.

Hey,

From Canamex... not sure what happened 10 years ago. But we do not double broker Caravan's loads not sure why you would think that.
My apologies - I got an offer from Caravan for 1300 - then when I passed on it in 15 mins I got the same load information from Canamex for a 1000. I called Caravan and they advised they booked all four.

No Worries! The customer there is huge, kind of how you have like let's say home depot or something using multiple carriers.

Also That's probably me responding back... I say that so we can start a negotiation somewhere.
