Getting the run around for payment over 130 days for $1500 dollars.
Anyone else having difficulties getting paid from these guys? Have reported to Link.

After doing more dinging I found out they were double brokering the freight to us and who gave it to them paid them in 15 days!
We have reported to Link but nothing has happened yet.
Please put these as do not use list due to double brokering.

Link doesnt really care, its is your duty to admin your own business they just provide a matching site, i do agree they should get more involved but its not really in their interest as you need them more then they need you.

Link DOES in fact care about non paying brokers. I received exceptional help from Link regarding a delinquent broker a month ago - above and beyond helpful assistance which I was not expecting. Link ceased the brokers access on-line - froze their account until my invoice was paid. A cheque surfaced a couple weeks later. So I totally disagree with the above comment. Always report to Link in a professional and appropriate time manner (invoice outstanding 90+ days) and they will assist you. Good Luck!

I disagree. Link doesn't step in unless a few of us get screwed over and by then it's usually to late. The amount of money we spend on their link and disp systems they should be more involved after 60 days and 1 complaint even if it's just to issue a warning. I can manage a/r very well but when links involved people get payment out asap and that should be a part of their very costly service or perhaps an add on.

Complaints to the Link

When I send in a complaint I usually do it by email and just say the facts, that the customer invoices are overdue and I want to registrar a complaint and they never asked me how long overdue!!, and have always got back to me.

These guys still havent paid over $1400 in invoicing dating back to February 2008.

The owner, Mario, is a real treat. And when asked for payment at 175 days was told to "be patient".

If they were an Ontario company, they would have received the small claims court letter already, but being in Quebec is posing some challenges.

I wouldn't touch these guys with a 10 foot pole.

Interesting position on what the link needs and doesn't need.
I think with no carriers using their site it would be quite useless to the load broker... they need us as much as we need them.
That having been said, i don't get much freight of their site - i've been at the same thing for 14 years so most of my freight comes from people i know. I personally think they should ensure when companies register as a carrier that they should also ensure that individual registering ACTUALLY HAS EQUIPMENT not just phone lines in their office or home.....
