CARRIER TRIED TO FRAUDULENTLY BOOK LOADS. THEY TRIED TO BOOK WITH US, BUT PROVED TO BE FRAUDULENT THROUGH COMPLIANCE CHECKS. IF YOU BOOK WITH THIS CARRIER AFTER ALL OF THESE FG REPORTS WARNING YOU ABOUT THEM, YOU SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO BOOK LOADS ANYMORE. DISPATCH@CALIFORNIAHOLDINGS.COM.

SPOKE WITH BRITTANY BARNETT, WHO WAS THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY. SHE SOLD THE MC BACK IN SEPTEMBER 2025. THE INFO ON FILE IS INCORRECT AND THEY ARE BOOKING LOADS FRAUDULENTLY. CARRIER IS DNU.

Gee what stood out they are scammers? The fact 99.99% of US carriers do not run Canada? US carrier calls on a load to Canada = scam over 99% of the time yet brokers on here weekly that fell for it. I have posted this in atleast 10 threads over the years. US CARRIERS DO NOT RUN CANADA you are about to be scammed if you sell them a load.

I only posted it to let others know that they reached out to us for a shipment. Not sure if it was CAD to US or US to CAD or US to US as they didn't reach out to me directly. Trying to keep people informed in case they don't have access too Carrier411 or they only look here for information :)

Not that many years ago, 10 or 15 maybe even 20, US carriers were interested in the Canadian market. I used to sell US to Canada loads regularly to some of the larger US carriers. You used to see their trailers on the road everywhere, Schneider, JB Hunt, Crete, Melton, Churchill etc.. I can’t remember the last time I saw any such company equipment on Canadian highways. For whatever reason, they completely abandoned making any type of inroads into the Canadian market. As Rob correctly points out, any US carrier today, chomping at the bit for your freight is more than likely a scam.
