California flatbed freight

Does anybody have any leads or contacts that may have flatbed /stepdeck freight coming out of California or western states back to Ontario/ Quebec , any information would be greatly appreciated

Good luck with that Dave...I've been avoiding the West like the plague right now. . My last California truck picked up 10 feet in Cali, and I filled him out in Mississippi and Ark! It worked out Ok but I was shakin' in my boots when I wheeled him East with 10 freakin feet!

Dave, how did you make out getting freight out of Cali ? We have 2 step roll tites delivering February 7 in Oakley Cali, I am already getting nervous

Not very well.
He just emptied 10 minutes ago, and I don't even have a sniff. A lot of lowball brokers posting stuff. I've called everybody I know. I'm even willing to send him to Winnipeg or Calgary.
 
Yikes, well good luck, if you come across one of the those million dollar freight brokers with lots of California flatbed freight, please pass the info my way, try Megan at Challenger MF she may have some extra , she has helped us out before but it has been a while

I got him loading in the morn. Not a good payer, like you said before, good thing the outbound pays (Its turning into Western canada almost).
Not as much as I wanted, but I believe every day a truck sits, theres 200-300 more in fixed costs you have to get to be where you were before. Sit him for 2 days, the load has to pay 600 more on Friday than the one did on Wednesday just to be whole.
