Just a reminder to all to check you expiry dates

Seems we never got the mailed form 60 days prior to renewal. Called MTO office in St Catharines as it's now due. They said they have given all Carriers an extension until October. Must be a bigger story, maybe they never mailed it or whatever

I find it hard to imagine that the personification of perfection that each employee of the MTO represents would be able to make even the smallest of errors.

They changed their computer system and it screwed everything up. But, when they send you your new CVOR - READ IT CAREFULLY!! It will replace the old CVOR that was kept in the trucks. Now it has an expiry date and YOU HAVE TO REPLACE THEM every year. At least I'm getting my exercise putting them in each truck.

We faxed in our renewal application last month and it still hasn't been processed yet! I've been on hold with the St. Catharines office for 60 minutes so far but the available counselors are "still unavailable". Does anyone know the "magic" number or extension to bypass the main customer service line? We've never had an issue before so this is quite frustrating, to say the least. I called the toll-free line so I can be on hold all day, if needed. It's their dime!

(Their hold music is the Nutcracker Suite and I've heard it about 5 times so far!)

Luckily, someone answered the phone just after I posted on this thread! Our renewal was processed in early August but I guess they figured they didn't need to send the new certificate to us. Anyway, I just received an email with our new CVOR certificate and I am now a happy camper!

Well here I am again, more than one year after my original post, having the same issue. New CVOR certificate not received yet. On hold with the St. Catharines office..... listening to the Nutcracker Suite loop over and over....
Our renewal application was sent to them at the end of July. This is ridiculous....

In the subject line put your CVOR number and company legal name. They usually respond in less than a half hour.

I just mailed mine the same as Igor. Mailed and got the new certificate within 2 weeks including mailing time at both ends.
