Bypassing DPF

I want your opinion on this measure that apparently is not welcomed but would increase fuel efficiency and HP. Is this illegal actually? (anti pollution system) I guess once the warranty are expired it is up to the owner...

Any advice?

Martinwizz it is illegal, not sure what the penalty is but pretty sure you would be towing your truck if caught.

I think right now they are only targeting the shops that are performing the work. But depending on where you are registered, some provinces won't let a truck pass a safety if all the pollution control equipment isn't as it was from the factory

Not to mention failing a puff test will have techs crawling all over.....massive fines in Ontario for defeating emissions systems.
