Anyone know what's going with BYEXPRESS? Are they going out of business?

I've been trying to get money out of them for while now!

I don't know how they are about paying bills, but I used to give them a lot of freight and they always did a good job. Then all of sudden their service dropped so I put them on my DNU

No we're still in business and still growing. I'm sorry to hear you're having problems getting payment. PM me the details and I will look into it. You can also email accounting@byexpress.com

We deal with thousands of carriers per month, your invoice may have been overlooked, misplaced or if our load number is not on invoice it does not get processed.

I apologize for any service failures that may have happened. I do know when we were in trasition and restructuring dispatch there were a few issues. But if you're service failures occured when Paul was in dispatch or Jason, that would explain it.

If there is anything you need help with or any questions or concerns just send an email to dispatch@byexpress.com

Now I was going to give you the benefit of the doubt byexpress but on one thread you claim you deal with 1000's of carriers and maybe the invoice was misplaced but then on another thread you said the following:

"Slow on paying clients? I don't know what clients we're paying? As a carrier, clients are paying us."

I think you can understand why people may be a little skeptical when you cannot keep your story straight. I also agree that if thecourier has only posted about your company then most of on this site can tell it is somebody with an axe to grind but you are not helping your cause by sending mixed messages.

Sorry I mixed my words. We pay carriers and we get paid by clients. In the thread someone was referring to slow on paying "clients", which really should have been "carriers". We can look at carriers as clients, but we tend to differentiate the 2.

All the issues I had was with your dispatcher Paul. If you are saying that the only reason your company left a bad taste in my mouth was because of him, then I would be willing to give you guys another chance.

Thanks for the response.

I can assure you that many things have changed since Paul left.

You can contact Amit in Dispatch at ext. 201. You can also get dispatch at ext.'s at 202, 207 and 205. At times it is quite hectic and we cant always get to everyone, and the next best option is dispatch@byexpress.com We respond to emails promptly.

Can someone (anyone) provide some clarity with regard to credit terms with ByExpress? I tried to sift through the various threads, and there seems to be issues between "The Courier", and ByExpress, so that muddies the waters, I just couldnt get a feel if they pay promptly on normal freight without claim.
Anyone????

Terms are normally 30 days or as per the load confirmation.
We do offer quick pay, just inquire when booking a load.

58 days and counting. Sent a few emails and called numerous times. It seems this outfit does not care to make a phone call and tell people if and when they will pay.

Congratulations to ByExpress, they made our DNU list, We have an invoice over 90 days, with lots of excuses from them.

Negative posts and "conflicting" info started in March 2012 regarding ByExpress....obviously there is no change - this isn't surprising....

Hopefully members can avoid payment predicaments and just steer clear....

I too am now a victim....haven't been paid for over 3 months now. First they mail to wrong address (although address duly noted), now they say cheques in the mail, don't return calls. Shame on me for using them. Buyer beware!
