Anybody watch the video of the school kids tormenting the elderly bus monitor in NYC? I wanted to reach into my computer screen and grab a few of the little B**tards.
If I ever caught my grandkids doing something like that there would be hell to pay!!!!

A Torontonian began raising funds so this lady could have a nice vacation. Last I heard about $300,000 was raised.
The lady stated that she didn't want to press charges...just an apology.

The woman has received just under half a million dollars - it was reported donations were just under the $470,000 mark.

The donation site was intended to originally give her a much needed holiday. She is now able to retire comfortably.

It is amazing how people from around the world can react so quickly - to such a horrible situation. Nice to see alot of people think this incident was awful - I still go by the notion there are alot more good apples...to bad ones.

If I had ever spoke to an adult in the manner those brats on the bus did - when I was younger - I wouldn't be seeing the light of day. How embarassing for the parents of these kids - for their horrible actions to be seen on video across the globe...

Talk about a nightmare....wouldn't want to be the instigator's Mom - meeting co-workers at the water cooler....

I couldn;t even watch the video, it was too upsetting. Having teenagers myself, I believe these types of kids are (thankfully) in the minority!

Being raised in the country any of the neighbours would give you a swat if you where out of line, that's the way it should be today.

I agree with that, Lowmiler. I am from the country too. We were always punished by being told to go and walk around the block....

If anyone else is from the country, you know that's a miserable punishment!

It just never used to happen. The worst we did was 'knocky nine door' and we were almost wetting ourselves, with our hearts beating in our throats in case someone opened the door and caught us. How has it escalated from that to this?

Parents don't spend enough time with their children teaching them values, love and to respect others and elders...

They simply dump kids off at a relatives or some random babysitter's place so the parents can continue to party like they are still 20...

Having children is a big and time consuming responsibility that needs to be taken seriously by those considering having children...

This from the guy still looking for the correct 'baby-mama' (please don't take offence to this comment, those that know me understand the humour, those that don't please disregard)...

Happy Friday,

Mike
