I received this email at lunch today. Not sure where the truth lies as I have used ProExpress in the past....
Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
I just had a carrier hold my freight hostage until we paid them all there invoices by email transfer.
Only 3 invoices totaling $1500.00--- 28 days old and 20 days old and the last one 1 day old, so nothing extreme at all.
Do to the urgency of the freight our client asked that we give into these bullying tactics and pay.
Don’t you be the next one to get bullied into paying for your freight charges before it’s even delivered.
It shows what a carrier will do when they can’t pay their bills.
