In Quebec we are obliged to limit our truck speed to 95 km/h so part of your theory is wrong right there.
Once the ELDs are up and running that is the next project for the US. Speed limiters will, apparently, save thousands of lives

Well, martinetav, you kinda miss my point..
5 cliks below speed limit is OK by me and I think general public as well..
I was talking about truckers driving considerable below that, say 80-85, or around 40-45 at 60 zones...
But I agree with you on your point of view, eh..

We have a customer that uses breakthrough. I think its not a bad system. Better than % of the base rate which never made sense to me. Most of TMS software already integrate with Breakthrough fuel so admin cost should not be a concern
