Just found out they brokered one of our loads out to another company. They're factored but have been pushing for payment which is a red flag. Noticed a POD with another company name on it and they confirmed they hauled the load not Booster. . . now waiting for an explanation in regards to what happened.
The explanation.... Our truck broke down, there was a tornado, a flood, my dog ran away, they stole it from our yard but delivered it anyway, I was tired and didn't want to drive, a hurricane, I don't like to drive in the rain, my hemorrhoids were acting up, they owed me a favor, its my brother, my pet cockroach died, your load yes it delivered don't tell us how to do our job, who are you again I don't understand, pay us first and we will tell you.....
How many did I miss?

see that pet cockroach excuse would be the red flag - cockroaches NEVER die ... everything else is believable lol

It makes me very angry when someone thinks I might be stupid and naive enough to believe such BS. However it makes me even more angry that they think I haven’t already heard this BS before!

Sometimes fact is stranger than fiction - so this happened to us last winter:
1. Loaded trailer in Winnipeg yard - truck hooked to trailer for morning delivery (driver didn't understand that it's winter - need to unhook and plug truck in)
2. Morning - truck won't start (duh!) - so called tow truck for a boost (tried to boost with another tractor first no juice) - they send a small boost only truck
3. Boost didn't work so called tow truck to tow tractor to shop and then deliver with another tractor
4. 2nd tow truck comes and as he is going out the yard gate and into the ditch with our tractor and blocks entrance / exit
5. now we cannot leave yard to deliver
6. another tow truck comes to pull out out tractor and 1st tow truck - now entrance needs ruts filled before anyone can come / leave
7. line up ouside and inside yard - drivers hanging out - party time
Beacuse we have worked with this customer for a long time he just laughed and resch delivery ... but if it was a new customer - can you believe what he woudl have said to us

I forgot to update this thread, but do not use. They admitted to brokering out the loads once confronted and instructed us to pay the carrier who actually ended up doing the work.
They then changed factoring companies and their new factoring company reached out asking for payment. I'm not sure if they got their money from the first factoring company but they transferred their receivables to another factoring company knowing full well they weren't going to get paid for the loads they did for us.

I have a copy of their carrier package.
Their docs all list "Steven Seagal" as the director & shareholder, and a "Micheal Baker" (spelled like that) as an individual shareholder. On an email chain there is also someone named Tanish Sodhi whom is listed as a 3rd party designee on their application for EIN signed in March of this year (along with an address for them). And the name of the payor on their UCR registration says Manas Pahuja.

Bad company... Double brokered a load from us to another carrier/broker Best Yet Express Inc...... these folks decided to make things even more difficult and Triple brokered to another carrier A&H Singh's Transport...
Now A&H Singh's Transport is holding our freight because Best Yet Express owes them lot's of money or something....
I'm pretty sure they are all working together somehow.... watch out for them all.
