They reached out to book with us recently too, my concern is that this entity may have been recently purchased or reactivated, although I can’t say that with certainty — it’s just my impression based on the information available.
There is very little online presence or operational history that I could find prior to the last 10 months, aside from recent Google reviews & this thread. They also applied for their MC1711353/USDOT4369869 over a year ago, and those records still appear inactive - which gives the impression they may still be in the process of setting things up operationally. We were discussing intra Canada loads anyways not cross border, so not totally relevant.
That said, they could very well be legitimate and operate properly. To help verify continuity, I requested insurance documents showing VINs as well as the previous year’s CVOR to confirm there were no gaps in authority or ownership changes. They replied to review the onboarding portal for any of their information, however the requested information was not available there — which is why I had asked for it directly in the first place. The load ended up not moving and we never finished our set up conversation.
