Customer Logistics Planner

XTL Transport is currently looking for a Customer Logistics Planner for our Terminal in Vaudreuil.

This position is responsible for the planning, execution and control of transportation services for our strategic partners. Focus is, but not limited to, domestic and cross border intermodal and over the road shipments.

Tasks:
1. Responsible for complete order management (end to end)
2. Key communication link with customers on front-line issues
3. Provide feedback to Sales & CS on areas of opportunity or concern
4. Work with Customer On-time reports to ensure we are meeting our on- time objectives

Skills:
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years previous experience in Logistics
  • Understanding of transport industry, specifically domestic and cross border intermodal shipments
  • Candidate must poses a good knowledge of North American geography
  • Post-secondary degree in Logistics/ Transportation or a related discipline
  • Strong working knowledge of (AS400, Lotus Notes)
  • Must have exceptional interpersonal, communication and good negotiation skills
  • Self-starter with good judgment, well organized, professional and detail oriented individual
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities, meet deadlines, work under pressure and take on additional task
