I was wondering if anyone has dealt with these guys, and wheather they are on the up and up or if they're crooked sheisters?

I've dealt with a few of them. Do you mean Bestway Cartage in Mississauga (Vipond) or Best Way out of NewBrunswick. The first ones are OK but you have to check on your freight- they left mine on the dock for 2 days and I wasn't informed until I was checking for delivery. But over all they have done pretty good. I have given them a lot of inbound over the years with no issues.
Best way from New Brunswick ruined a long weekend of mine 10 years ago- I was waiting around to load their truck and got the runaround several times....Truck should be in at noon....at 3PM ....at 7PM....7AM- you get the idea. No truck ever showed and I have written them off since.
 
I have used them on occasion ( Bestway- Vipond) and they have always done a pretty good job. Picked up and delivered when they said they would...no issues.
 
What a great way to start a Monday, totally screwed by Romeo at Bestway. They missed my delivery on Friday, and PROMISED me delivery at 7am today. Not there yet, they just not sure where he is, might be a couple of hours. Romeo has sat on this freight since thursday, and is getting a good rate for 7 skids. It is not my problem if he cant get a full truck load to go down there, he should not have taken the freight.
 
freight should be there by 3pm, customer is so friggin' pleased, operations Manager is unavailable to come to the phone. Romeo dropped the ball
 
Bestway Cartage Mississauga - Telephone is Out of Service ???

Does anyone know if they're having Phone issues ?
