Steve is Jerry, and I would put money on it that he is also Jad. He pulled same to our Halifax office and actually fired Steve due to our loads and the delays. Don't waste your time he will never tell you truth and hope you know someone in Ontario that can pay him a visit as he will be in his office, as you walk into house first door on your left as you walk in.
 
Transaction I would have the receiver check out the name on the truck maybe/probably double brokered.

We got a call from Jerry on a posting... Identiied as Bell and Bob...

I just don't get it. Does he think no one knows what kind of business he is running? After our own MAJOR service issue last May and all of the posts here we had our dispatcher advise him not to call any more (again) and also advised him that everyone in the transportation industry was learning quickly not to work with him.

Bell and Bob is Hundal Transport!

:mad:Got a text last night from Jerry asking for COD before delivery. Found out the truck says Bell and Bob on it and his insurance certificate he gave us was false. I am sending all of this info plus these postings of previous instances to the authorities. I am taking the approach that he picked up our freight will providing fraudulent information on his business, then when we found out the freight had not cleared customs yet, we asked it to be returned. He lied and told us it was in the USA. To me, this is blantant theft of the freight and that is how I am presenting it to the police. There is also a regional BOLO out on this truck and trailer from WV to FL. Description is Bell and Bob truck and GT Logistics Trailer with an MB license plate? If anyone sees this truck, can they please contact me immediately at 647-258-4404 x 1.
 
They have the balls to ask you for COD after all the shit they started with you, I would be taking a tour over to their office and having a little face to face time.
 
I am just wondering, how come so many of the freight brokers on this site are presently dealing with this fellow and his various companies?

The bell & bob saga has been well documented on this site! Good luck to all of you anyway, I am certain that this fellow is not helping the image of the small Canadian carrier any, he needs to be refrained from operating.

Hopefully the legnthy, detailed mass emails circulating will get to enough people that he ends up with zero business.

The notes in our system from nearly a year ago now contain strong language so I'll not repeat them...

He is well known to do exactly that. Now that I have gathered all the info, it was his plan all along. I have contemplated face to face throughout the week but I think that would result in a wasted trip. I really doubt he answers his door. I have no choice at this point as the freight will be there in about 20 minutes and it is custom made equipment for a hospital. The installation crew has been waiting since Sunday. I called the Law firm mentioned below and I wish I had this information earlier. He is well aware of Jerry Hundal (which he mentioned is not even his name). He has own a few lawsuits against Bell and Bob and said there is now a garnish on that account for judgments obtained. He suspects this is why the new business name and a new bank account has been opened. He also gave me the name and number of a Peel Regioinal Police officer who is well aware of this character annd would be interested in hearing that he is still taking advantage of people. I am going to start speaking to other people who have been affected by this criminal and the NTBA about putting together a class action lawsuit. This has to be stopped and I will spend every extra minute I have to ensure justice is served.
 
They showed up and I had no choice but to transfer $3,000 to them as the hospital was in desperate need for this freight. The one silver lining is that the driver left without the POD so now he has no legal proof he even delivered. I sent him a text message stating that with pissing so many people off, is he not worried that he will piss off the wrong people some day? I also stated that Ethan Rogers at Anderson Sinclair (law firm mentioned in string below from member "Shakey") and Officer Rob Wilson (Officer's name given to me by Ethan Sinclair who had charged Jerry Hundal in the past) is looking forward to seeing him again and they say hi. This really got him going. He started texting back stating that he did have a breakdown. I replied stating that not to worry, I have EVERYTHING documented. He said "good, as do I". I responded with; "Really? Can you please send me a copy of the breakdown in Georgia on Monday and the breakdown in Jacksonville, FL on Tuesday and the POD? This really got him going. He came back stating that the receiver took the POD from the driver and went inside. He said the driver took video's of them unloading anyway (not true) and that he was calling the police because and to expect a call from stealing the POD. I said "no problem!" I finally have this little weasel squirming! This morning I am sending an email to the NTBA to send out an alert that this criminal will be looking for freight coming back up into Canada. We are also contacting MTO, Canada Customs and the RCMP to see if we can get anywhere with them.

At least now Loadlink do send an alert on them to advise they are not a Loadlink Member
 
I was coming back from LA and saw a few of their trucks coming back to GTA on I 40 and I 70. Makes one wonder with the reputation they have - how can they still get freight?

The freight is being booked by another carrier and then given to Bell and Bob to haul. Birds of a feather......
