So, does anyone really use Jamie Davis Towing by choice, or is Al Quiring a more preferred vendor?

I'm thinking, as I watch the Highway Thru Hell show, I wouldn't let one of those Davis guys touch my truck even if it was blown all over the road in a wreck. Maybe it's the show editing, but those Davis guys look pretty sketchy most times.

Quiring & Co. on the other hand looks pretty competent and professional.

I would be a little careful basing my decision on what I see on a "reality" TV show. Not bad entertainment, but does that translate to good, actual recovery service? I'd be curious to know if those two outfits are the only ones out there.
 
A google search shows they are not the only game in town, The show has also shown other companies such as Jamie's brother has one etc. One of my drivers spent a weekend in Hope last summer and ran into Adam that used to be on the show and he is working out of Vancouver doing heavy for some other outfit also.
 
Big Phil that works for Jamie Davis is a former Erb Driver , pretty good guy actually. Reality TV is a lot of balony though I agree.
 
No way guys ... shipping wars has to be real. It's on the A&E Channel which I think is part of the Discovery Network, so it has to be real ... they wouldn't lie on TV would they ?????????
