I wondered about this too. You know that if a driver knows how to unhook a governor or mess with satellite equipment that it's only a matter of time before someone figures out how to "fool" or disconnect an electronic log. The worst case scenario is if an electrical malfunction in the truck prevents the logging hardware from operating. A blown fuse could topple that house of cards.
