I'm looking for artwork with a transportation theme. Paintings or photography.

Can anyone point me in the right direction or provide a contact name? I don't believe this is typical gallery stuff but I know it's out there....

Thanking in advance.

What typically are you looking for : for example are you looking for more of an abstract type photo shot of trucks in general?

Thanks for asking Maggs...

General "transport" really - artwork and/or photographs of trucks (generic) - nice stretch of highway - intersections etc. anything with a transportation theme to decorate an office. And preferably Canadian if I can find it.

I'm sure this can be found - likely right "under my nose" but I don't know where to start looking....

Many of the owners I've visited over the last few years take pride in their own 'equipment'. They have slideshows, books, framed artwork in their lobbies, offices, etc... all of pictures of their own trucks in different weird and wonderful locations all over North America. It's pretty cool to see, most of the pics are submitted by drivers... Sunrises, mountains, empty road, snow, etc...

Start your own artwork collection, tell your drivers (from all of your terminals) to send in pics.

When you have enough pics, let me know. My printer/framer guy is pretty good. I'm aware there is a more accurate term for printer/framer guy.

Keep well,

Mike

There was a time when you could go to a website called webshots to download different wallpapers for your computer. You need to sign up but they have pretty much a picture of anything from what I remember. I downloaded many nature scenes for my computer back when Windows 95 just had that plain screen.

Calll RK Printing in Mississauga (905-672-5757) - They do decals for trucks/trailers. They print logbooks, tripsheets, mailing envelopes. They might even be able to help you...

As Mike JR stated, as I am a photographer as well as a trucker, I have hung many pictures of our trucks in our office. Actually if you go to our FB page J.G. Drapeau, you will see a lot of my shots.

Thanks everyone for the replies, ideas and links. Most appreciated...

And I'll take a look at your Facebook page Maggs - sounds great!
