That must be how he pays the insurance to stay FMCSA compliant - borrows it from the Employee payroll, ehem, Driver Inc payment fund.

Please be aware, sounds like some internal hitches are going on with the management, maybe thinking to file bankruptcy, staff has been fired without any notices, pending shipments didn’t get delivered.

Reputation of booking your load, followed by reporting a midday truck breakdown (if you call for update), and if you're lucky they'll message you at the end of the day cancelling leaving you stranded. If not you find out the next morning. Big DNU
