Are you folks reading this MTO crap?

Well it's nice to know that since we do everything to make sure our equipment is in the best of shape that we will actually get inspected more so these officers can make their quota of 12 inspections a WEEK.

It's probably more than 12 per week (they have vacation time). So, if they have to perform 3 inspections per day (approx) and they can squeak through an inspection of a 'newer' tractor-trailer in say, what, 45 minutes (wild guess)? We'd have to assume the other 5+ hours a day is administrative duties, right?

I'll just eat my lunch at my desk again today because our customers expect results while these guys target 'easy inspections'.

Back to it, the workload never stops.
Mike

You know, its funny. I always thought they were carrying as they are such pricks. Now I find out its just their sense of entitlement. Go figure...

Ever notice only about half of the Canada Customs guys carry a weapon? Ever wonder why that is? I have it from a reliable source that the half without aren't allowed to carry because they can't/couldn't pass the Psych exam.
I suspect the same can be said for MTO. If I were the government, I'd be terrified they would shoot somebody just for the sake of shooting them !!!
