Are any of the brokers out there currently using these guys with any regularity? They've just presented me with some pretty aggressive rates.

Any feedback on their service is appreciated.

Have been using them for several years, always had good service as well as decent transit times. I dont know your pricing proposition, but if I look in too mine the rates are better versus the other rail company i use (Quik Trax), but when I ad their fuel (21.75% +/-) they come out to be more expensive. But then again Quick Trax service isn't the greatest and they confuse themselves sometimes.
 
We use them a few times per month. Apex has good service and rates for dense skidded freight. WCE is reliable to the west for all kinds of freight. Not fast, but reliable.
 
The opposite

I have started giving them little bits here n there, never any issues.
Unfortunately I was led to believe they serviced the west by road, not rail so the 1st shipment was a bit of a strain but they did deliver the same day the train arrived.
As for pricing, I find they're are good for small shipments/minimums.. soon as it starts getting close to 1000 lbs they are often too high and I can get a better rate by road.
 
I've used them for years, yes their rates are very aggressive and they offer pretty good service. Like all LTL carriers that deal with volume, they do screw up sometimes, but not very often. I had no problems with them.....
 
Thanks all... I've given them a dozen or so small shipments over the past weeks (mostly minimums). They seem to be OK.
