Anco Logistics - Woodstock, ON

Its been so many emails and phone calls , all been getting lolly pops not payment , even the one cheque got bounced. Have to report to loadlink , very bad attitude of doing business.

Just got a call from another broker. Anco apparently is double brokering his freight, accepting payment but not paying out. He was kind enough to say he is going to pay me direct and not to expect anything from Anco.

Do you know if they are still doing business because I leave messages and I have no answer. Last time I spoke with them, they told me that they have problem with cask flow.

We had done 3 loads for them, realized all double brokered from the same company before we could call said company they called us and paid us direct and now we are doing loads for them. That is why they are having cash flow problems because people are catching on to them and money is not coming in the door so all the balls in the air are starting to drop.

Phone number on their website doesn't work - now a 416 number -
I'm speculating Brian and his band of former Schroderites have done the same thing to Anco that they did to Shroeder.

No, the owner of Anco and the former Schroder came to some agreement after the Schroder fallout. I wonder if Schroder owed them money and this was a way push the can down the road. Anco was the result of a fallout between father and son of another flat bed carrier in Woodstock.

Schroder totally screwed us - As for payment please call mike @519-421-1117 as the Mississauga office is closed, I have no idea what he is doing as I left the company over a month ago.

thebluffs1 - Schroder was 14.5 million in the hole before we joined them, as for Anco you need to speak to Mike, He is a good person trying his best to climb out of the mess of bad accounting in Woodstock.

Jim L- Schroder burned Mike for over 4k and he never recouped the non payment from Rob Schroeder. There was never an agreement to take over the people at Schroder... In fact we could have went to 3 other companies and we picked Mike because he was asset based and had a lot of deck work.

Our firm has dealt with Mike @ Anco for a number of years. We have never had a problem with him or the service they provided. That said, we have always owed him money, not the other way around. One has to wonder if this was a case of an asset based company, doing a good job at it, deciding to venture into load brokering, perhaps at the urging of the folks from Schroeder? Who knows??
