Interesting comments though.

He's never let me down. That said... I don't like my freight being double brokered without permission. I will check the last few POD's to see.
 
Yeah... It was picked up and delivered no problem but it was clearly a Gardewine POD. I could of sent the freight that way myself but was trying to avoid crossdocking. Ah well I will be avoiding them now

Anyone have any current Info on Americas Freight Link? Not on Link since last month and phone goes to voicemail....???
 
used him a couple of times, becareful, as he uses O/Ops who have their own insurance & authority. He's just the booking agent. If your freight has any value you may want to be concerned who's insurance is covering it.
 
This is a very interesting thread to me. I've used America's Freight Link in the past and after reading here over the past few months I've done some poking around. All his POD's, PAPS and PARS are all his own. The last time I went to Buffalo and was in line crossing the bridge at Lewiston I noticed an America's Freight Link straight truck going the other way on the bridge.

Doug may not be the most warm and fuzzy guy out there... but he's always done as my company has directed him to do.

Maybe we've just been lucky... I don't know... I'll continue to read this thread though, with interest.
