Had huge issues with Alpine. Picked up my half load in London on a Monday, for delivery Calgary on Friday. Throughout the week I traced with them as there was a install crew waiting for the shipment. I was assured that everything was on schedule (Tues-Cochrane, Wed-Winnipeg, Thurs-Swift Current) Friday comes along and Alpine truck is no where to be found. They would not answer my calls, and finally when I *69'd them, they came up with a story of they hit snow and the truck wouldn't make it until Monday. Fair enough, BUT... Come Monday when the truck didn't show, I started really investigating and found out that The truck didn't actually leave their yard until the Saturday after it was supposed to be delivered, and it was double brokered to another company. Here's where it starts to get good, I come to find out that 2 skids of my shipment were already in Calgary at a crossdock. When I called Harry on it, he said that was impossible and that he would never split up a load. I convinced the crossdock in Calgary to take a pic of the freight and email it to me, then I forwarded it to Alpine and asked him to explain... And he still denied it after seeing proof! Finally on the Friday (A week late) the rest of my split up, double-brokered load showed up to Calgary, only to have the truck break down in the cross dock yard. I had to hire someone else to complete the job...
Needless to say, these guys are a definite DO NOT USE!
