Hello All.
Anyone have any experience with this company as a carrier?
MC-405833-c
3 Merlon place
Winnipeg MB

Thanks in advance.

Looks like they did about 4 loads, per the notes a lot of chasing, but they did deliver. Last use was Sept 15.

Thanks.
I did end up using them. all seems to be good so far.
Will keep you posted after delivery.
No Complaints here yet.

ryguy,

By chance, was this the first shipment you were offering this carrier? Perhaps their dispatcher took the load because they wanted to cover the truck and when accounting went to set you up in the system they for some reason couldn't approve the full amount of credit required for the load?

I feel there should be some logical explanation beyond 'let's take this load and ask for payment upfront some time after'. Doesn't make sense. Then again, some people just aren't logical - I won't name names. :)

Keep well,
Mike

I've been running my little company for 18 years. Never not paid anyone. Over the last few years gotten much better paying the carriers quick, I have to think my credit is pretty good. And it still happens to me. Trucker calls on a posted load, send them all my credit info, sign their credit ap etc, everything is fine. 10 minutes after they get the confirmation you get the email or call,
"Sorry your credit is no good, cannot take your load."
My reply is always "No problem, I pay up front."
"No, I cannot take your load because of your credit."
"umm if I'm paying in advance there is no credit... "
"No cannot take your load, credit is not good."

There is no sense and no logic with some people.

Totally agree.. But I think we have another variant (hate this word) here. I think Mr. @Mike J nailed it, but our
new member didn't like that above carrier raised a voice..
In my world if you won't ask - you won't know. So, carrier tried... Have to look at the whole picture and at the trend.. Once- not a trend.
And , oh boy, we have PLENTY examples here, eh....

This is code for: "Hey I needed a load so I booked with you, but now I got a better lane/price else where and dont want to break face so I'm just gonna say your credit is no good". COD should be and always will be welcomed with open arms and a red carpet at our house. Do the work and get paid the same day, Imagine that Lol.

The odd time I get the same... it's easy to disparage other people.. i.e. your credit is no good. When I'm told that I offer a 100K certified check if he can show me paying late or not paying on anything. I'm 61 years old.. phone bills from when I was 18 count.. So far there have been no takers. Usually your credit is no good means something else.. we found another load.. you're in Canada.. etc..

Credit reporting agencies such as Creditel, Equifax, etc, etc are only as good as the info they receive. If they receive even one bad report from a supplier about you and no good reports about how timely your payments are then you will have a “bad” credit report. Even if the bad report was a misunderstanding or misapplication of funds on the suppliers part, matters not. The best way to avoid it is of course pay your bills on time, but also ensure that any potential new supplier has access to a list of your references who can personally verify your prompt payment history.

Hi Mike, I think another member mentioned it but it felt as if they accepted my load and then got a better offer an hour or so later. The whole "your credit is no good" or "recent reviews are not good" spiel they say just so they can act like it's my fault they cancel the load...a little irritating.

Sounds like a possibility, and ya never know, if they were honest with you about it at least you could consider coughing up a few more bucks to match or letting the truck go. At least that's an honest dialogue. Unprofessional but honest.

Keep well sir,
Mike
