WE DO NOT DOUBLE BROKER AT ALBION LOGISTICS. AS EXPLAINED OVER THE PHONE MULTIPLE TIMES, THIS WAS A LAST MINUTE INCIDENT THAT HAPPENED IN ORDER TO SAVE FACE OVER CANCELLING THE LOAD LAST MINUTE. Tony @ Albion booked a partial from ON to Sturbridge MA, KW Logistics showed up to pickup the shipment even after my dispatch point blank asked if it was an Albion Truck. I called Lackwinder @ KW directly, same song and dance he works for Albion it's not a double broker even though he is running his own MC & Insurance and operates as a single entity. This is the same scenario I encountered with Yasoob, according to Tony at Albion they have 3 carriers they do this with. They start to tell you they are operating as a dispatching service, which would be all fine and dandy if they provided the correct MC and Insurance information instead of booking it under their established MC. Based on the report on 411, I would suggest this a much more rampant issue, Daytona is not a 1 man show like KW.
Albion made my DNU, I set KW up directly and paid the full amount (Albion was holding back $125).
For the record even though I would not have set KW up, he did a good job delivered on time and provided the POD on delivery.

My spidey senses were tingling back in January.... but dispatch booked them after grilling them and essentially telling them look we are aware this may be happening and they still did it. We got lucky the carrier hauling the freight was easy to deal with.
