Am I the only to see that numbers don't add up, eh..

Here we go again with this nonsense. They flood a market with trucks and drove the rates down; then instead of switching to other profitable work, they choose to strong-arm the customer to hike the rates back up so they can repeat the cycle again.
The same crap was pulled by the same riff raff out at the port of Vancouver.
 
I imagine the increased enforcement in the GTA who is picking off some dump trucks with some severe out of service issues is was is causing the operators to rethink their pricing model.
