Anyone have Good/Bad reviews on this company?

We have had them on file for years used to be Adco Courier, they went through a legal name change to Adco logistics, we have only used them once in the past year as a carrier and once as a broker(08). They paid in 60 days

Adco Logistics

Rumour has it that they cannot get insurance from any insurance company as their CVOR is so bad. Be careful in using this company they will back solicit your customers.

Mike took a skid from me on Friday destined for PA and it hasn't arrived yet, he is not in and there is no one in the office who can tell me where my freight is. He hasn't been in this week to supply us information. They will be at the top of my DNU list and warn all to be careful.

I know Adco very well they been around from day one and operating from the same place for more then 20 years aside from the multiple locations they have through out US and Canada .

Not sure if this is the same ADCO out of Woodstock who should be posted in the Not Paying Their Bills Double Brokering group. Stay away!
You're mistaken, the name for the carrier/broker in Woodstock is ANCO Logistics, 100 Housers Way Woodstock, ON N4S 7V9.

One letter means all the difference sometimes.

We just had a wonderful experience with Adco Logistics.
Load picked up in late October in Ohio to come to Brampton, load was traced as delivered on 11/2
Last week we found out the trailer had in fact not been delivered and was sitting in their yard.
We rescheduled a delivery for this morning at 6:00am and were told at 10:45am that they could not deliver as their trailer tires were flat as the it had been sitting loaded for a month (no mention of how many flats).

When we asked why they only told us nearly 5 hours after the delivery time that they were late, their reply was "well, if you had traced it a month ago we wouldn't be in this situation now". We told Adco the name of the person who told us the load was delivered, and another comeback "well, the load was booked with another dispatcher, you should have spoke to him"

I know s**t happens in trucking, and sadly this isn't the first time something like this has happened, but the nonchalant attitude towards our client is worth mentioning here, this particular dispatcher did not make an attempt to rectify the situation where in MY eyes, the carrier is completely in the wrong.

needless to say, I'll get these guys on our DNU and for all of you, please be careful with what you give them
