ye they really do suck, booked a load from victoriaville to mtl, driver was in a daycab and wanted to get home, once arrived at shipper they knew nothign of the load for that day. Once advising activa, they refused to pay TONU. Also hard to get in contact with anyone who has any understadning of the trucking business.
on a seperate load Carp- Saint laurent, load was posted as 35klbs, once rate con was sent, it was shwoing close to 58k. Emailed and called to cancel within a few minutes, the lady starts freaking out and literally crying saying shes unable to change it, so we said we would move the legal weight allwoed and the rest would stay.
following week we are asked to move the rest, which we do since we were in the area, and activa refuses to pay that portion now. their employee saying she would have to pay it from her pocket and then went on leave for months apprently.
