ACI emanifests

Thank you Salma. Just this week we had a customer wanting to see the stamp on their pars number. We provided a copy of the lead sheet and after some himming and hawing...they accepted it. Next time, I will provide them this notice!
Have a great weekend!

I hope you have a great weekend too!

Hi Salma, for each pair of shipper and consignee would require a separate cargo report. If you have several distinctive products under the same cargo control number, you should list them out in their quantity, weight and piece count. You can in fact enter up to 999 commodity in the same cargo report.

I was just reading through this topic and was absolutely flabbergasted that some of you actually give up your original CBSA clearance stamps. If you ever get audited by CCRA and do not have those original stamps you are in for a world of hurt in the fine department.

On another part of this topic ... how are you all getting barcodes to your drivers?

Hi Michael.. I'm not sure if you're referring to my post. We will give copies of lead sheets to customers upon request. But this means a photocopy. :)

Hi Mike. We had an audit and photocopies are ok. They know if you crossed or not. It is just an old wives tale about having originals.

Here is an example - I am sure it's happend to you. Customs broker calls and says that your load has not crossed - but it has. So they ask for you to send the customs stamp via fax or e-mail. They don't make you drive to the border to prove it with the original.
