Just wondering if I could get some feed back from everyone regarding the going rates for ACE Manifest and what you're being quoted on for the ACI Manifest?

I am currently getting a great rate for my ACE but have just been told they want to increase it by 235% and still obtain my business for ACI. (Don't we all wish we could increase our rates like that).

Yikes! Well, you'd think that they might want to be competitive since it's Livingston. I'd talk to the account manager. Adminserv is handy if you have so many transactions a month. I don't see what would raise their rates unless they're trying to recoup some kind of cost or maybe it's just profiteering because companies don't have ACI. I don't know how much Crimson Logic costs but you could check them out. I would go back to Livingston and illustrate for how many tranactions you have and how they should be demonstrating a lower cost per transaction based on volume, not an increase. I've seen their contracts and talked to them. If you're lucky enough to navigate through their bureaucracy, you could speak to someone that you could negotiate with and make sure you have another company to switch your business to if they're inflexible. There's another company called Simple Ace (Simple Ace – eManifest delivered by Text Messenger | Transport (Truck) Border (Ace) Customs. Simple Ace | Truck (Ace) Border (Transport) Customs. Simple Ace.) that does both ACI and ACE manifests, and even seems to be partnered with PC Miler, Shaw Tracking, etc. and you can use their web portal or download their software. I don't know much about them except that it looks like a good solution, depending on the cost structure. Their site says you get unlimited use. I know for a fact that Adminserv expects a certain number of transactions. However, when I spoke to the sales rep, I spelled out what the volume was like and the contract was based on that. I think it was like $20 a pop, subject to a minimum monthly fee if I remember right. Your cost per manifest should be no more than what it costs for the time it takes someone to fetch, check, fax, confirm receipt and confirming entry, and retreiving any missing customs documents. It is definitely not a 5 minute job. Simple Ace might have fees that are better than what you pay Adminserv or what it would cost to do in-house.

Hello Everyone,

I have got some prices on ace and aci but I just wanted to see what everyone else out there is paying to outsource there's what are your rates per transaction ?

Just out of curiosity, why would you use any third party to process your ACE or ACI requirements? If you are a large enough company, any good software package that you are using will have an add-on module to support ACE & ACI. If you are not that big then both ACE and ACI have free web portals that you can use.

We are a small company. We do all ACE Manifests ourselves. We would rather pay ourselves to do them than pay someone else. I can't speak for larger companies though. Maybe it cuts into other areas of productivity? It takes approximately 5 minutes to enter all the information into the ACE portal for each manifest.

I've done ACE several ways.
Paid 2.00 - 10.00 per manifest through 3rd party. (shouldn't be over 4.00)
Used both TMW Truckmate and Transplus Fleet bolt on modules (SLICK!!)
Currently doing ACE through Portal because I don't have many trucks and I'm long haul so not many entries per week.
Once you get above about 10 entries a day, I find that the portal is too cumbersome.
I haven't done ACI yet.

My guts say ACI will be just like ACE was. Fear and profiteering until it becomes the norm, then the rates will go down.
