A true insult for all fatbed carriers.

Nolan Transportation Group Inc out of GA, posted a full flatbed load from Toronto, ON to Winston Salem, NC for $1000 for 716 miles. They said they do one of them twice a week. Shame...

Shame is the carriers hauling them.......if they sat rate would go up

I wouldn't move it on a van for that amount!!!!!!!!! But someone will - the companies out there moving anything for nothing only hurt the rest of us.

That is the great dilemma of this industry.

I am sure Nolan had no problem selling this load until a month ago when the inbound /outbound volumes reversed.

They are probably running into Toronto for $4.00/mile. Going back with anything at any price.
There are not enough trucks for the outbound recently, hence the need to post the garbage load (in my eyes at least).

I am not sure they can move it at the low rate.
Bad luck on him for depressing the rates!!!
