Has anyone had any dealings with 407 Logistics out of Edmonton?

The carrier's trailer burnt down with our cargo. They are MIA now.

Their office/yard is in a townhouse in Edmonton. 'Im looking for their yard's address.

Any help is appreciated.

Contact the carriers insurance that you have on file and notify them of the loss and their exposure. To be on the safe side, also contact your insurer and make them aware of a possible claim against your policy.

By the looks of below I wouldn't waste time hunting them down, get with their insurance broker. Did you file claim yet?

We've done it all since then,... Thier insurance broker is not helping. We reached out directly to thier insurance and we are having our insurance on it now. It's the same name ..... We were just about to garnish their account and it failed. I appreciate the info. If it's the same company, originally they were located in AB.

A vehicle fire resulting in loss of cargo isn’t something that may or may not have happened. If it did, your customer, the owner of the freight, is entitled to be made whole for his loss. If the insurance broker isn’t helping (?) go directly to the underwriter and start a formal claim. Your insurance provider should be assisting you. It is up the carriers insurer to track down the carrier if they have disappeared. They are the ones on the hook.

I agree and we did all that. the underwriter has been unresponsive as well to our requests. It has been a long painful process. Now our insurance has taken over the conversation with the underwriter. We are suing them as well. Thanks Loaders and Shakey!!

Our customer has been made whole. We just need to recoup our "investment" from these crooks...

Did one load for us last year and that was it. never was comfortable using them again for obvious reasons. While on our load, updates were incorrect and felt fishy so did some research they used to work on Canada Post lanes for some broker out of Ottawa, called them, and found out they are after them already because of a stolen CP trailer. Somehow I got the phone numbers of drivers on our load and one of them was then a partner in the company. let me know if you need the driver's phone number I will DM you.

Wow that's horrible, never ceases to amaze me how many shady companies are out there. Hope you get everything you lost, and then some.

I'm having a little trouble figuring out how this carrier got past Linear's RMIS on-boarding process.
Either my math is bad or something doesn't appear to be adding up quite right ... did someone skirt the policies and procedures to on-board this carrier?
Something else just occurred to me ...
Said carrier is from Edmonton, correct? Alberta is not a government insurance province like Manitoba or BC.
We all know that one-truck carriers cannot get insurance at any price. How did this carrier manage to get insurance?
