Did a search for these guys in May and did not find anything . Fortunately for us it is only $800 But Darn doesn't it make you mad when they have nothing but congratulations for our work (probably because we saved the day) but now the only person I get to actually speak to is the dispatcher. The accountant has always 'just left for the day' when I call and Sonny, the owner, has always 'just left for the day too. And then after taking attitude, I am told that MY ATTITUDE will not play in favor of my getting paid... So, they pump you up and then tell you that your attitude towards him is not helping to get paid, when you loose patients...
I'm going to enter this under a new heading that is S.P. FREIGHT SYSTEMS just to make sure that no one else gets taken in by them...but then again, they'll just change their DBA 1526302 Ontario, Inc. DNU
 
I'm thinking they're double brokering everything? On SAFER they show 6 units, but never an inspection. Either that or their trucks only run in Canada. I think everyone should be aware that based on what's in SAFER, if you're giving them freight from the US they are at the very least brokering out the leg coming to GTA from the US, maybe transferring from there. Sure would explain the crappy service and slow payments.
 
We have done 5 loads with them. I don't know if they are double brokering, but the moves did move and i never heard from any other persons. Last invoice paid to them was 2.5 months ago.
 
I would never used them again they kept saying that they would pick up on a certain day and kept making excuses why they hadn't pick up and then when they showed up they didn't have enough room to load the product and expected the
shipper to double stack what they had on the truck so they could fit my freight DNU
 
I hope I didn't speak too soon. If I hear from another carrier about the loads they did, I will post so.
 
It would seem that these people think that asking to be paid at 108 days is 'bad attitude'. Actually got hung up on by the accountant. Said I was calling about payment of our invoice. She replies, What do you want to know? I answer, I want to know when we are going to get paid. It has been 108 days since we invoiced you. She answers me, So, you think your smart do you and hangs up on me... I call back and the accountant answers. I repeat, as calmly as possible why I am calling. She gives me a check number. I ask, When was it mailed? She answers, Today, if I have time...
