Has anyone had any dealings with this carrier? We are about to pay them a large amount but their invoice address and the address they want it sent to are different. Just want to make sure these guys are legitimate before sending out the check.

Good morning,
We had two loads from ON to CA with them about a month ago. The first one was delayed by a week and wasn’t completed properly. The second load sat in their warehouse for three weeks—they gave us fake updates about the delivery, sent us a tracking link for a different truck (which didn’t even have our order), and ultimately, the shipment was never delivered.
All I heard from them were promises—none of which were fulfilled. After three weeks of this, they returned the load to the shipper and then had the audacity to request a TONU payment.
We now have a claim with our customer due to their “excellent service.”
No email updates, no calls, no communication whatsoever. Giving them any loads was clearly a mistake—better think twice before working with them.

I had such a strange experience with Trans Link that I had to see if anyone else had a similar experience with them and found this thread. We gave them a CA to BC load first thing in the morning, and the dispatcher Raj would not let me get off the phone until I gave him the pickup address so he can hurry and move his team to pickup. This is not uncommon because it was a hot load and carriers want to pressure me into not making false promises over the phone. Throughout the day they kept making excuses. They even sent me a tracking link to one of their trucks, but it kept moving in circles. I even called, spoke to someone else and they kept saying "it's on it's way. 30 minutes." There were a variety of excuses everytime I called such as "the truck showed up, but the shipper said come back in a bit". Raj even called me a few times and profusely appologized for all the mix up on his end. By the end of the day, they still did not pick up. I found someone else to pick up the next morning but I'm still confused as to why they would go through all the trouble of keeping me on a string. Clearly I'd never give them another load, so why would they do that? Surely it would have been easier on everyone to just tell me "sorry, truck broke down" if they knew they could not pick up. But considering MikeDs's experience, I think I'm lucky they did not pick up.
