Worked with a guy same name (Aylmer area) never an issue with him.. Trying to remember who he was with Guenther I think..

They have no WSIB and usually that's a definite no for us. They are saying it's all owner operators.

I can confirm they only have owner operators. Will is a solid dude. Worked with him for several years.

Even if they have all O/O they should have a WSIB account. I'm sure they have at least one employee that works in administration. If not, how the heck do they dispatch, manage, perform accounting duties etc.

It's a small company. The owners take care of all the administrative duties. They don't have any employees.

We never had one for maybe first 5-7 years until it became a thing and where forced to by a client. All O/O fleet and Mom and Dad did the books..

It's possible for a very small company but technically if the employees (mom and pop) are officers, not directors, of the company then WSIB is not required. If there is no payroll account, then there will be no way for WSIB to audit because they start with the T4 summary of the company. If there is one employee who received a T4 via payroll then WSIB is required. (enter through the door driver inc, staff inc, cleaning inc, shop inc - all one employee companies with the officer of the company the only employee)

Yes sir bang on of how it was, We have it all now with employees but at the time we had no use as we all had outside insurance that covered the trucks down etc which WSIB will not do.
