Has anyone had any dealings with this carrier? We are about to pay them a large amount but their invoice address and the address they want it sent to are different. Just want to make sure these guys are legitimate before sending out the check.

Carrier: 12640759 Canada Inc (dba Trans Link)
MC# 1380193

Good morning,
We had two loads from ON to CA with them about a month ago. The first one was delayed by a week and wasn’t completed properly. The second load sat in their warehouse for three weeks—they gave us fake updates about the delivery, sent us a tracking link for a different truck (which didn’t even have our order), and ultimately, the shipment was never delivered.
All I heard from them were promises—none of which were fulfilled. After three weeks of this, they returned the load to the shipper and then had the audacity to request a TONU payment.
We now have a claim with our customer due to their “excellent service.”
No email updates, no calls, no communication whatsoever. Giving them any loads was clearly a mistake—better think twice before working with them.

I had such a strange experience with Trans Link that I had to see if anyone else had a similar experience with them and found this thread. We gave them a CA to BC load first thing in the morning, and the dispatcher Raj would not let me get off the phone until I gave him the pickup address so he can hurry and move his team to pickup. This is not uncommon because it was a hot load and carriers want to pressure me into not making false promises over the phone. Throughout the day they kept making excuses. They even sent me a tracking link to one of their trucks, but it kept moving in circles. I even called, spoke to someone else and they kept saying "it's on it's way. 30 minutes." There were a variety of excuses everytime I called such as "the truck showed up, but the shipper said come back in a bit". Raj even called me a few times and profusely appologized for all the mix up on his end. By the end of the day, they still did not pick up. I found someone else to pick up the next morning but I'm still confused as to why they would go through all the trouble of keeping me on a string. Clearly I'd never give them another load, so why would they do that? Surely it would have been easier on everyone to just tell me "sorry, truck broke down" if they knew they could not pick up. But considering MikeDs's experience, I think I'm lucky they did not pick up.

100%. You already had a lot of problems with them - it would’ve been even worse if they’d actually picked it up.

I have been working with TransLink for almost two years with weekly runs, and they have been excellent to work with. They are always on time and very reliable. Manny, who takes care of my account, has been great—professional, responsive, and always helpful. I truly appreciate the consistent service and support.

Good morning, thank you for your feedback. We would like to clarify that this shipment was booked as an LTL load, where transit times can depend on consolidation with other freight and carrier scheduling. In this case, the shipment details and dimensions provided at booking were not accurate, which also caused delays during handling.

We always aim to provide updates based on the latest information available to us, and we regret if there was any frustration during the process. Please note that warehouse schedules, especially on weekends, can also impact timelines.

We value every customer and always work to resolve issues professionally. Thank you for sharing your concerns.

Hi, thank you for sharing your feedback. Based on our records, the shipment details provided were not accurate, which created delays in dispatch and pickup coordination. Our truck was sent to the location, but we were informed by the shipper that the load was not ready and would not be available until the following week. This update was communicated at the time.

We remained available to assist and tried to coordinate a solution, however there were also outstanding TONU charges that were declined. We understand this may have caused frustration, but the situation was not as presented in this review.

We always strive to provide professional service and transparent communication with every shipment.

Global, Can you make it anymore obvious that you work for Translink? You post only on this thread the day you created your account and then never log back in, I also have worked with Translink and they are not a very reliable carrier, they are on my DNU
