Driving video

Explain to me why you think we would want to watch something like that. That is brutal. Unreal.

To pay attention to the road you can never predict what may come. be careful and safe and alert!!! how is that for an explanation.

Why?

Why? because if it makes ONE person think before they text, email, talk on their cell phone, read the paper (another thread perhaps!) apply make up whatever....and saves one life...it's worth it....while I agree the images are extremely impactful...so is the message.

wow!!! ... really makes you think... you can never lose concentration... not even for a second!

Aceofspades,

I don't want to be accused of reading more into your posting on this video than there is, or what you really mean. However, it seems that the blood and gore are a shock to your particular sensitivities.

As in any public service message, it isn't about how you feel, it's about a reminder of the irrevocable devastation one can inflict upon the lives of others when acting without regard for the safety of others, or in a careless moment doing any of a number of things, when one's attention should be directed to the task at hand - driving!

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0ukd7xTQ9g]YouTube - Texting While Driving - British PSA[/ame]

this is a good video to watch as well. It's called Texting while driving PSA. (Very Graphic)
EVERY driver should see this, especially teenagers. It is very graphic and is recommended for 18 and older but if they wait till 18 to see it, they may not reach 18. As a firefighter, I see this stuff all too often. PARENTS: Watch this by yourself first then WITH your kids. Explain to them that if they HAVE TO phone or text, pull over and stop in a SAFE location first, THEN use the phone.

Thanks Jessica.. I was thinking of this video when I saw the first, but I'm not sure how to add this stuff.
