UPDATE - I had scheduled a load for pick up in MB last Friday and deliver in BC Monday morning 8AM - Danielle was very responsive at first and load picked up on time with no issues. After everything picked up communication died... Danielle dodged my phone calls all week and mostly ignored my emails. She sent me one email on Monday afternoon to advise driver was delayed and would deliver at 2pm. When driver was nowhere to be found at 2pm, Danielle dodged my calls and ignored my emails until Tuesday afternoon when I received another email saying "Sorry - Driver had a mechanical issue. This will deliver at 3pm." - Of course this was a lie. Driver was nowhere to be found at 3pm Tuesday and again Danielle was dodging my calls and ignoring my emails. On Wednesday she had either blocked my number or turned her phone off because every call was going straight to voicemail. Wednesday afternoon rolls around and I get an email explaining driver was at a shop in Calgary with a mechanical issue... Freight did finally deliver Thursday afternoon around 5pm. Danielle still will not answer my calls...
I am not an unreasonable man. I understand that delays happen in this business, but this lack of communication is unacceptable. I have since been invoiced for the installers time waiting for the truck and I fully intend to pass that along to Danielle. Shaan's Trucking has also earned a spot on my do not use list...
