Has anyone any recent payment experience with JDI Logistics (Saint John NB)? we have gone to over 60 days and absolutely no response to emails.
Payment terms are 30, they pay at 45, but we can't wait any longer in this scenario, because you never know who is planning on closing up and will not make it past the COVID 19 crisis. at minimum carriers and brokers should not turn off the lines of communication, as it gets sketchy. Everyone is on edge now.

funny enough! we just heard back, they are on the next run. "hopefully this week, oldest invoices will be paid at 71, then the next in the 60's and downward. Not sure how many will be paid but at least we got a response. In the same thread they advise they pay at 40-45 days. Hopeful for a positive outcome.

We used to deal with them years ago.

There is an asshole who works there, by the name of Jack. I forget his last name. He tried to cut our rates a few times after we made deliveries and really soured the relationship so now we do not touch any of their freight.

I wouldn't be shy at all to reach out to their customers. I don't know if it'll help during this time but we did not have a good experience with them at all while working with them.

JDI is part of the J.D. Irving Group.

They broker the freight that doesn't flow through Sunbury, Midland or RST Transport.
They pay in 60 days... and they always have.

yes just got information that they cannot pay the bill until it reaches at least 60 days. our 50 day invoice wont even be considered at this point. too early.
