Any feedback from anyone with past history with Cooper Brothers since they were purchased by Slyvite?
My memories with Coopers usually resulted in horrendous service and cheap rates.

Hoping their service has gotten better since the acquisition.

Thanks.

Maybe I'm late to the dance......but when did Sylvite purchase Cooper Bros? (we had to cut Cooper Bros off due to horrible service and damages) Sylvite is great!

I'm guessing mid to late 2019. I personally haven't used them in years. Got tired of the service failures and the attitude from employees. I know that won't fly from a Slyvite managed company.

I decided to give this order to someone a bit more reputable.

But not against using them in the future if anyone has any recent history with them.

I believe that Sylvite was mainly TL and Cooper mainly LTL, both with lanes to OH I'm sure they felt it was going to be a great union.

We worked with Cooper before and after the purchase. I would say that the service received was above average for an LTL provider but did come with some of the challenges of LTL business. We had some damamges like with other LTL shipments that are crossdocked once or twice. Some atributable to mishandling and some to shipper error.

I have an open claim with Sylvite currently that I believe is being handled correctly, so that's good news!

Keep well,
Mike

Thanks for the info Mike. That's why we had to cut off Cooper Bros. They kept double stacking our freight and damaging it and didn't care. AND they still wanted the skid rate booked even though they cut the footage in 1/2.
