LoadLink Spot Market Rate Tool

We've received a few calls in the last week from LoadLink, trying to sign us up for their Spot Market Rate Tool / Rate Index (at an unreasonable rate per month, I'm sure). Wondering if anyone has signed up for this tool and how it's working for you.

I use the ITS spot market rate tool and have found it very useful, especially for truckloads in heavily travelled lanes. For LTL and off the beaten trail lanes the tool is much less effective. The Loadlink equivalent would likely offer similar value.
 
I have a message from them regarding this and have contemplated it prior. Waiting to hear back from them regarding the costs.
 
$175 / month for minimum 3 month contract.
You must also connect your invoicing system to their data system to help further reflect the market.
 
Yikes, 175$ to hook into your system and sell your data... those crafty LL folks, if you do go forward would be interested to hear how it worked out!
 
@vanspek thanks for your insights, much appreciated. As mentioned, Id be interested to hear your feedback if you do end up going through with it.
 
When I questioned LL about where the data came from the response was that it comes from their cloud based LL TMS system. The salesperson tried to make me believe that everybody but me uses it but I don't know of one person who does.
LL then told me that they request all subscribers who don't use the LL TMS to 'submit' their rates they have achieved where they will be reviewed and entered by LL. When I heard this I started to laugh; the salesperson identified my skepticism. I then told them that there was no way that I could ever trust a system like this - brokers who will state they completed loads for $1.00/mile, carriers who say 5/mi and LL personnel who probably edit them before entering them.

How or why would anyone ever make a business decision based on these numbers and why would I ever tell anyone what rate I was successful in obtaining?

Sir You must understand its just market gimmicks to sell there products.
I personally went to load link office and compare market rate. was hell of difference in rate.
you must take credit check thats help alot
