Carrier411 refused to Phone talking.
Just told us last week sent a email regarding a bout the report. We can only respond through the email.
Finally found it from the jungle emails:
If you do not act within 72 hours, the report will indicate your failure to respond and will be released automatically.
it was already 4 days ago.
We just found from the jungle emails and the email address we usually don't use.

I wouldn’t worry too much about Carrier 411. It is only one of many “rating” systems available on the internet. Your best course of action is to put this unfortunate incident behind you and move forward. Be extremely careful about who you decide to extend credit to in the future and research them as thoroughly as possible. As you said you did in this case, in the event of a delivery delay, notify the proper parties as promptly as you can. Time to concentrate on running your business and let this go.

They cheated us.
Our truck broken down,acctually we already confirmed with them if there was a fine.
They told us we have a new solution : set up a new delivery app ,no fine.
After they got the POD. They told us the huge deduction 77 % of the freight.
They made false report to carrier 411 : Carrier never showed up for first delivery app and receiver waiting long time .Rescheduled delivery app, carrier still failed to delivery.Back-solicited shipper
That was so ridiculous.
When our truck broken down, we let they know 2 days before the delivery APP.
They rescheduled delivery APP, we delivery on time.
They still refused to pay us the full freight after delivery 5 month,of course we need to contact shipper.

The cheater broker just let me know it.
The false report already effected our business.
Some brokers trusted their post.
We already contacted Carrier 411 regarding about the false report.
But the carrier 411 still has any responses.

It is time to stop gnashing your teeth and shaking your fists in the air Lily Canad. Yes, you were ripped off and treated badly by this company. Unfortunately there are many more than this one in our industry and as I said earlier, your job now is to take steps to prevent any similar reoccurrence in the future. Put your anger and frustration aside and use that energy to examine your internal procedures so that you won’t experience this again.

Of course I will take my actions.
I need to update and let more carriers to know them to avoid loss !
If previous carriers cheated by them post the truth, less and less carriers will cheated by them.

I've got to agree with Loaders, Carrier411, insidetransport and the TIA Watchdog are three of many areas we will review when onboarding or spot checking existing carriers. A single report can be overlooked if everything else lines up because there is always two sides to every story. Take your time and offer the truth including supporting documentation to carrier 411, then move on and focus on your business.

Some one did report us to Carrier 411, sometime ago even it was their own mistake.( first pick Saturday and Second pick don't know when will be ready so refused the load) We found out through other broker when we call on their freight. Some brokers do believe Carrier 411 and avoid using companies. But when i contact Carrier411 and gave them my side of story and told the broker same, they believed us and broker end up working, (actually end up calling for us most of their freight after this, according to them, we were one of the best carrier for them) and 411 end up removing us from their site.
And for that broker who reported us, we still avoid them till date at any cost, and when ever they call us on our trucks, our first question is that when is their management going to apologize in writing.

I find the people that yell and whine the loudest usually have something to hide. Like my 2 year old, except he's only hidden cheese in his trike Harley seat that he will dig out later in the week and eat.

In the end, there are 2 sides to a story and people always leave out the details that hinder their argument and embellish the details that help their case. It's why hearing all the details (and seeing all the tools) usually help. In the case of this thread there was a breakdown. If the repair bill was produced to prove the breakdown it would go a long way to help clarify what happened.

Hi bigt,The corporate traffic logistics is different with your broker.
The made false report to carrier 411 on purpose. I already sent the proof to carrier 411.
Because according to Canada BOL Laws,broker did not pay the freight the shipper is responsible to pay. Of course I need to reach the shipper.
Shipper continue no response for payment, definitely I will go to court.
I won't let them go.
I am so sad and angry,because I have never meet someone bad like them.

Lily, if you get this 'sad and angry' over something like this you are going to have a hard time in this industry. You can't let it get to you that much. It sucks but this much stress is not good for you.

I hear you. What's also sad is that carrier ARE also cheating other carriers by double brokering and not paying them. I'm dealing with one now. This carrier is out money and he has only been on the road for a few months. I will be posting the cheaters name in the proper category.

I did 5 local loads for Normerica, same day notice. $400 rev on each. $2k total. Delays getting loaded, long wait out to the street. No wait time even though requested. No payment for 2 months and then I'm told there's a $5000 fine on the account due to being late for delivery even though I told them and send pictures of the ridiculous line up at their Brantford plant and told them to advise the receiver. So I basically worked for free. Never again. Stay away. They're posting loads directly on the load boards will mint a new generation of suckers.

Normerica is notorious for delays, has been for years. They haven't been too bad this month, no huge lineups....so far.

Have you worked with them for a long time? I like their volume but obviously need to get paid vs surprise deductions. Are there any good brokers that deal with Normerica?

I haven't picked up in YEARS from them....I can just watch the multiple near-miss accidents from our office on a bad day there. As soon as Normerica is mentioned I'd run or run empty...it won't be worth the hassle.
