Looking for payment history or any other issues for Sunrise Freight System. I only have old info from 2008.
 
We have Sunrise Freight Systems on DNU for suspected double brokering in 2007 and a note that we received poor service, nothing recent.
 
Should've checked this out before giving them freight.
They were supposed to pickup a load last night at 6pm from OH and del in Brampton today by noon. Called several times this morning and their driver wasn't answering his phone. Finally at 11am they tell me he just got loaded... apparently they couldn't fit my shipment on their trailer, which is bologna.
We'll see how the delivery goes!
 
Anyone have any updated info on these guys?
I've been using them pretty steady the last few months. Haven't had any issues, dispatch seems to go above and beyond when something isn't going as planned.
 
Looking to give this company a load today. Looks like they were bad in 2010, but now are ok? Is that correct?
 
there insurance was cancelled lately for safety reasons, never dealt with them after. most likely they have the new one now since they are 200 trucks operation.
 
They want us to do one shipment for them. Does any body know if they pay with in terms?
 
We supposed to do a load for them yesterday. Fife, WA to Calgary, AB. I have doubt that this is double broker by Sunrise. Did any body on this form gave them this shipment? Driver arrived and shipper kept telling load is not ready till late and dispatcher at sunrise kept saying otherwise when we contact this company to update them and ask if they will pay waiting time, they never reply or kept saying that they are talking to their customer so we end up pulling the driver since no firm answer and he was running out of his hours. This morning they are blaming us for not to pick up the shipment when they never gave us any answer regards waiting.

Sounds very suspect. Are they trying to fine you?

No, not at the time but the dispatcher just kept asking that why our driver left without picking up the load but won't answer why they did not get back with waiting time we already spent and driver was told by shipper that load is not ready and it might take few more hours before it is ready. Our driver spent 3 hours at shipper before we end up pulling him. and we were instructed not to contact shipper otherwise we always make sure before hand if shipment is ready or not.
 
honestly stay away at all costs. the owner "dave" claims he has 300 trucks but is always late for pickup and delivery stay away dnu

they cancelled 2 loads like week, we gave them another chance. And they cancelled 2 loads this week, just hours before pick up again.
