You mentioned 2 weeks ago that MTS Logistics was filing for bankruptcy. Do you know if this is true? Or where you obtained the information?

Thats what i thought!

Sunny, MTS is operating while you couldn't pay a 500 invoice and i had to hire a paralegal to collect it from the shipper. SPEAK THE TRUTH!

It's clear you are frustrated as would anyone be if they had to pursue collections. You have called out Sunny in the shoutbox, and in 2 or 3 other threads.

I hope you are able to put the difficult situation behind you and move on.

It is behind me. I dislike seeing people make false comments. Is there a way to remove members if they are caught lying?
Comments like his, can hurt small business. TCRC gave me a break on the collection as it only took one letter to the shipper to get paid. Thanks Mike.

Admin would have to answer your question about removing members, it's above my pay grade (I'm a volunteer Mod you see).
The challenge is that everyone has their own opinion about any given topic or company. One person will have a horrible experience with a company and another person has only excellent experiences. Both may post here. Who do you believe especially if both are telling the truth, from their experience? Readers will take a posters credibility into account and also how many people take one side vs how many take the opposite stance on a topic. In the end we have to go with our gut when making decisions and other peoples experiences only contribute to the good or bad gut feeling a reader will have. The thing is, when a poster says random general statements without any details or tangible evidence to support their claims no one believes them anyway...

I'll continue to give them (MTS) business because I've met the owner, we agreed to treat each other with respect and service our customers together and make money along the way. MTS will sink or swim on their own merit, SPG's comments will not affect their business, not to worry.

Thanks for the response . I agree with your comments but in some case, these on Inside Transport are not about opinion, but fact. In this case, a member( Who he himself hadn't paid other carriers) , stated that MTS was going bankrupt. That type of comment can be detrimental to businesses....although if true, helpful. In this case, his comment so far is untrue. As members, we should be held liable if we are making statements that are untrue.
 
I sure as heck hope that people don't make decisions based on random comments on the internet (without evidence) and by one single individual. I've not changed my business with MTS and won't unless I see service issues.

Unfortunately, there is no real way to 'police' everything we read online, who has the time for that!?
