Anybody else have problems with this company?

They have owed us $1000.00 since mid January.

Lots of promises and then dodged calls, but no money.

Did something 2 years ago, moved 2 partials, both machines, did the first one then chased for payment, then he called and asked us to do a 2nd moved, did the load but demanded full payment for both before it came off the truck, then never heard from him again. I'd go there in person as he had quite a few excuses

Have you tried to contact the shipper/ receiver? Did they pay your customer for the delivery?

Have you had any luck getting your money from Glen? Because I haven't. He owes me $3000.

Does anyone happen to have a phone number for the buisness unable to find any information online.

A client of mine did around a year ago. Said the contact was glen waiting on the invoices but have seen this post prior to my client reaching out regarding Glen.

I dealt with Glen Dickson. His partners name was Craig. Glen blamed Craig for everything, but at the end of the day he ducked my calls for months and never paid us the $3000.00 he owes me going back to June 2016. A real loser. Good luck with Glen Dickson.

Equipment Resale calls you out of the blue after seeing your truck on the load board. Really friendly characters like Chris (1-716-907-1927) call ya and try to book your truck.

They seem sincere at first, they communicate well during the transit, but when the product gets delivered they pretty much hide and dont pay.

A year or two later, they call on a truck you have posted again, you remind them of their debt, and they hang up to find the next trucking company willing to work for free.

Big Big mistake reminding them. What's wrong with people?

I think what markhamboy is implying is to pick up this new shipment for them, then after pickup call them and advise you are having a hard time getting a hold of the driver handling the shipment. If, however their account were up to date (invoice #, amount $) it would greatly improve communication with this driver...

It's a great idea, but you also would have to demand payment before delivery on the load you are carrying which is never fun for anyone as you need to ensure it's certified, a draft or cash. At least you'd get paid.

Keep well,
Mike

Probably was a bad idea, luckily it was a local move and I didn't feel bothered to go through with the hassle and put a poor driver or owner-operator in the middle of a Mexican standoff.

I know of a few companies that lost $3000.00 or more to these guys also.

Interesting reading here...

I was brought to this post from a google search of the number 905-246-4773

This number was given to me by a warehouse owner who's address was listed on some paperwork I have for a load of two forklifts I moved over three months ago that I haven't been paid for...

The paperwork I have says the buyer's name is Nick Taylor of Ferranti Machine and provides an address in Fort Erie. When I looked up the address it was for a different company. When I called them they said they have been there for 25 years and never heard of Nick Taylor or Ferranti Machine. They did however say that a similar thing happened years ago that involved a guy named Glen Dickson and gave me that number listed above.

The company (and I use this term loosely) that I'm seeking payment from is KMC Holdings and the person we dealt with was Chris Taylor. KMC Holdings uses another address in Fort Erie as their location, but it does not appear that they actually are located there.

The address where the forklifts delivered was 7 Wilby Crescent in York, ON and the paperwork lists the company as KMC Corp. Of course, when I use google to search this address I find a different company is listed at this location.

If any of this rings a bell with anyone or you have any information that can help solve this mystery it would be much appreciated.

Thank you!

If anyone else is still interested in this mystery, I have just made a connection between Equipment Resale (the company that this thread is about) and KMC Holdings (the company I am currently trying to collect from)...

To recap...

- Our company moved a load of 2 forklifts for KMC Holdings whose office address is 51 Queen Street, Fort Erie. This load was done in January and invoice is now at 100 days... They are not answering the many phone calls or returning the many messages I have left...

- I saw the buyer of the forklifts listed on the paperwork as Nick Taylor of Ferranti Machine whose office address was given as 312 Gilmore Road in Fort Erie. I looked up that address and found a different company listed... Someone there gave me the name Glen Dickson and the number 905-246-4773 because he said this same thing happened years ago and this was the guy who was involved...

- I googled that phone number and that brought me to this very thread, talking about Glen and his company "Equipment Resale"...

Well, I was able to obtain the name of the registered owner of the property at 51 Queen Street in Fort Erie (the provided address of my debtor, KMC Holdings)... Low and behold, the owner of that property is listed as "Equipment Resale Incorporated"...

So I paid a visit to the home of KMC Holdings / Equipment Resale at 51 Queen Street in Fort Erie today...

It's quite a sight... Bushes are growing over the walkway... destroyed old phone books/flyers decaying on front steps... bird poop on door handle...

Oh, did I mention the dirty stained mattresses on the front lawn? haahahahaaa...

I had to break through some cobwebs to get to the front door... Looking in the window I can see piles of unopened mail and other debris on the floor of the foyer... I was pretty sure nobody has been here in a while...

Found a car in the driveway with no plates...

The handle on the back door was missing... in the backyard there was a Ford HD pickup with the name "Fulline Farm and Garden Equipment" on the side... also back there was a decent looking Mercedes Benz (with plates) and some kind of sports car under a tarp...

Of course, nobody answered when I banged on the doors... Other than the Benz and the Ford pickup, the place looks pretty much abandoned...

The hydro meter on the side of the house was missing and there was just a metal plate there instead...

Oddly enough there was a sign on the house for HOC Global Solutions, but I'm pretty sure they are no longer here and the current owners just decided to keep the sign up to add to the confusion of any potential bill collectors...

I spoke to a couple neighbours... One said they have seen some dudes come and go, sometimes parking a flatbed truck out front... The other mentioned they saw some police activity there recently...

This is going to be a tough one to collect on.... haahahaaa...
