KBMF Logistics - Hamilton

Thank you for logging a complaint to the link and calling my customer.

Maybe this is your way of getting customers out of brokers because you don’t have the sales expertise to do it yourself.

Business is business, and I got ripped off by a non-paying client which put me behind a month or so. We are working hard to come back from this as oppose to closing our doors like every other broker.

It’s carriers like you that make that almost impossible.

I am sure you have been in my situation before with a client but I guess you have no compassion or just don’t care.

You have a wonderful day!! Thanks for everything you have done to bring my company down. Much appreciated.!!

I have logged a complaint to the link about your company and the way you operate after the funds have been sent.

You will receive your check whenever the mailperson deliveries it. Again, sent Friday after hours.

Thank-You,

Michael Brewer

I can't believe you guys treated KBMF this way you should sit quietly and maybe just maybe you might get paid in 9 months or so shame on you. I honestly thank thebluffs1 for the post it has to be the best WTF post I have seen yet on this site.

@lowmiler88 maybe my response will make you smile as well

Mike,

I think we have provided you with ample opportunity to provide payment, to date, we have not sent any invoices to anybody outside of your organization, since you contracted us to do the work based on the carrier confirmation. I realize that you are questioning our sales expertise, and can certainly understand it, if in fact your assumptions were actual facts. Just pay the bill within terms, I don’t think that’s too much to ask. We provided the assets you did not have to move your freight – a truck, a trailer, running authorities, an insurance policy, and the appropriate licensing, and did what we committed to do. I don’t think its appropriate to fault us because you are unable or unwilling to do what you promised to do – reimburse us for the work that we performed on your behalf.

The other statement you made was this “

I would like to respectfully point out that it is carriers like us – you know, the ones with actual tractors, actual trailer, and actual drivers, that do make what you do possible- so the next time that you feel compelled to take a carrier to task that actually has money invested in physical assets, I suggest that you remember that if you’ve got it, or billed for it, a truck moved it.

I’ve included our system notes, and copied Link on this email so that there is full transparency. There’s no need to continue the juvenile accusations, nor was there a need for the ranting phone call that you just made to our office.

I look forward to receiving the cheque, so that this account can be closed.

Wish I could "like" your comment more than once!

Well said !

This one is definitely entertaining. So KBMF used to pay at 240 days but they where put back a month or so by one customer so now paying at 270 days (9 months as stated below) and they now blame their carriers for attributing the dimise of the business....wow talk about pointing fingers, time to take a good hard look in the mirror...

I am so glad I am done with this company
I wish the rest of you good luck
be persistent

Currently over 90 days, didn't like that I just read 240 days from transaction lol. Hopefully I wont have to wait that long but I wouldn't be surprise if I did. Any suggestions on how to collect from these guys? Should I start calling the end users to collect? Greatly appreciated! Happy Friday everyone!!!

BillD,

KBMF got a bad reputation. To our experience, as well as, numerous forum users, most likely you would not be timely paid. I would address a payment inquiry to the actual cargo owners, as they bear the responsibility to control their AGENT broker KBMF and ensure the carrier gets their portion of freight charges.
