They are a carrier that over the past year has been trying to hire salespeople and grow a 3pl division. They don't have broker authority. I do believe that they have pretty decent financial backing though.

StartekSt I'm not sure you understand the meaning of 3PL, we have trucks and we also broker freight but I will guarantee that not 1 load is double brokered.
Third party logistics (3PL) really means a party involved in moving freight place to place who is not the shipper or receiver. Any carrier or broker is considered a 3PL, the only difference is asset vs non-asset based.
