anyone else running into 6-8 hours delays in processing outbound PAPs with this so called customs broker.

Danza has been around for a while. They are usually faster than Livingston but not quite as good as Deringer. Maybe something special about the freight? Also, there seems to be some sort of change going on with the US. Been told a couple of times lately that we had been rejected because our quantity information did not match with the broker. Also maybe check to see if the paying customer is a 'ONE TIMER'. When that happens the expect the customer to pay their brokerage bill before they will let it cross. Just a few things we have come across that slowed things down. Good luck with it and keep you sense of humor thebluffs1

Yes, yesterday was a 10-12 hour waiting time to process paps. This was for a customer that uses DHL Danzas frequently.

that confirms what we have experienced, apparently they are very understaffed right now.
So how is that our industry's problem ??? I'll bet their not dropping their price for service to their customers even though they can't provide the service.
We've been finding Livingston, Deringer, and FTN to be tops lately. Yea ... Livingston if you can believe that ... LOL

You guys must be trying to cross DHL at Buffalo. Even DHL's Port Huron office doesn't like the Buffalo office. We find it a lot easier just to send everything to Port Huron even if it's a Buffalo crossing. Usually, at the end of the day (both literally and figuratively) Port Huron ends up doing the paperwork anyways.

I start to report every single DHL delay to broker/customer.... and knowing that DHL is always "bad" about time when paperwork received, I just simply forwarding same 1st email to DHL and TO broker/costumer with "break down" every single time email and/or call was made : "Dear (Costumer name), please note load will NOT be delivered on time. We've contacted DHL ### times ..... and etc" ... still end up delivering ON time :) ... I've done it for about 2-3 weeks for all my regular loads with DHL... Result: 1 customer switched to Livingston, other ones got in priority on DHL list and now all get cleared within 3 hours (and you all know for DHL 2-3 hours it's a SUPER FAST SPEED.)
