what ever you do, don't ever give any freight to them. I'm still waiting for them to deliver freight that they picked up for me nearly a month ago - and interlined without my permission or knowledge.

Regrettably, Doug Blue is the person I've been working with, and in all of my decades in this industry, I have never seen such poor communication. Doesn't know where the freight is, or whats going on- even if he would call back as promised I would likely be a lot more understanding of whatever the situation is. But no communication = don't care. Firmly on my DNU.

they gave it to Chargo- and thats where the drama really seems to get interesting. Time to send our daily email to Doug Blue to see if we can keep the streak of 18 unresponded emails alive.

Chargo is usually pretty good to deal with....but...they may have given it over to one of their agents so your shipment could involve a 3rd company. But I would call Chargo directly and get it sorted out...they should be up front and honest about it.

An update- 28 days later, my product from MB to Ontario has delivered, I know its not a local move, but its not an ocean container either.

Not bad service eh!! Do you know how hard it was to get the goat and wagon here from Manitoba? They went through 4 sets of goat shoes and they are not cheap either. Maybe you should offer up a bonus for the shoe wear?

An ocean container would be faster ... actually, I think a box car might be too!
